Because our packages involve third-party hotels, transport, and activity providers, cancellation charges vary depending on how close to the travel date a cancellation is made and the specific policies of each supplier. This page outlines our general approach — the exact terms for your booking will always be confirmed in writing before you pay.
2. Cancellation by the Traveler
As a general guideline, the following cancellation charges may apply (calculated on the total package cost):
- 30+ days before travel: minimal to no cancellation charge, minus any non-refundable deposits already paid to suppliers
- 15–29 days before travel: partial cancellation charge
- 0–14 days before travel, or no-show: little to no refund, as most hotel and transport bookings become non-refundable close to the travel date
Peak-season bookings, special trains, flights, and certain hotels may carry stricter, non-refundable terms regardless of the general schedule above — these will be flagged clearly at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation or Changes by Us
In the rare case that we need to cancel or significantly change a confirmed booking (for example, due to a supplier issue outside our control), we will offer you a full refund of amounts paid to us for the affected portion, or help you rebook an equivalent alternative.
4. How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, though timing can vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Certain costs — such as visa fees, travel insurance premiums, and specific non-refundable hotel or flight rates — are non-refundable once booked, regardless of when the cancellation is made. We'll always tell you upfront if part of your package falls into this category.
